Simpleware offers a software solution tailored to the challenging task of converting 3D image data into robust, accurate computational models for biomedical research. This allows the user to:
- Visualise and analyse complex anatomical structures
- Model both static and dynamic systems with faithful physiology
- Design patient specific implants and medical solutions
Commonly used segmentation tools such as thresholding and floodfill are complemented with region growing algorithms and 3D editing tools. In addition, implants from CAD data can be imported and positioned into the image data. The multipart models can then be automatically and robustly converted in to high quality meshes.
