Model Generation

Simpleware provides complete services to convert 3D images into Finite Element, Rapid Prototype and CAD models. Models can be provided from your scan datasets or we can we can also scan your objects in either MRI, CT or MicroCT scanners. In addition, we have high-resolution whole body MRI and CT datasets available in-house.

Generation of volume and surface meshes for CAD and FEA/CFD applications

The Simpleware technical team will generate meshes and models on a contract basis. Services can be tailored to address a wide range of problems in both industrial and medical areas. Our services offer a cost-effective alternative to buying a software license when only a few models are required.

Generation of RP models and STL files

We offer selective laser sintered RP models in collaboration with Exeter Advanced Technologies (x-at). Our Laser Sinterstation builds a functional plastic model layer by layer to an accuracy of ±0.1mm. X-at also provides a range of specialised services and has expertise in product design, manufacturing and testing.

Alternatively, we also provide Binary or ASCII STL-files on disc.

Simply transfer your data by email, FTP or on CD and you will then obtain a model or STL file of required structures.
